Yamaha Digital Programmable Mixer. This is a nice sounding, very low-noise, relatively compact and well-featured mixing desk. Ideal for a home-studio or smaller gigs. There is a review of the desk at the sound-on-sound website (enter "yamaha programmable mixer 01 sound on sound review" into google and it's the first link - I'd add the link here, but Greatbritainlisted won't let me). - 16 input Channels (8 Jack (balanced or unbalanced) and 8 XLR) - Switchable Phantom-Power (48V) - Internal digital effects unit - Auxiliary send/returns - On-board compressors and noise-gates - MIDI controllable (pretty much every available parameter can be controlled by MIDI) - Motorised sliders - Rack mounting flanges (removable) - Includes user manual Approximate dimensions: 45cm x 50cm x 12cm Has the following faults: - Channels 1, 5, 6 and the stereo input pair do not work. This is because the ADCs for those channels have failed. If you can track down the parts and know someone who can solder surface-mount ICs, then the repair isn't that difficult. - Motorised sliders are a little sticky. May just need a little bit of cleaning/lubrication. Or indeed just a bit more use to loosen them up. They still all work perfectly as sliders, it's just the motorisation that is a bit sticky.
